L’ElyT School est un échange de dix jours entre l’Université de Tohoku, l’INSA Lyon, l’Université Claude Bernard (Lyon) et l’ECL. Chaque année, l’ElyT School donne l’opportunité à ces étudiants de se rencontrer dans un cadre scientifique et de développer des liens d’amitié.
Cette année, cette école d’été s’est déroulée du 5 au 13 Septembre à Lyon (France). Trente étudiants de l’Université de Tohoku sont venus assister à des conférences scientifiques de Tribology, sur les centrales nucléaires… De plus, chaque étudiant invité doit présenter ses recherches lors d’une courte conférence de 15 minutes.
Des sorties culturelles complètent ce programme et permettent de découvrir la culture du pays hôte. Cette année, dégustation de vin et restaurant de crêpes furent de la partie !
Cette ElyT School est la deuxième à laquelle je participe. L’an dernier, j’ai passé dix jours à Sendai. J’espère qu’une telle opportunité continuera d’exister pour tous les étudiants qui souhaitent ouvrir leur esprit à quelque chose de différent.

ElyT School is a ten day exchange between the University of Tohoku in Japan and INSA Lyon, the University Claude Bernard (Lyon) and ECL. Each year, the ElyT School gives the opportunity to these students to meet each other in a scientific atmosphere and strike up friendship.
This year, this summer school started the September 5th to September 13th in Lyon (France). Thirty students from the University of Tohoku came to Lyon to attend scientific lectures about Tribology, Nuclear Power Plants… Moreover, each guest student must do a short presentation about his research.
This schedule is completed with cultural events which permit to discover the culture of the host country. This year, wine testing and crêpe restaurant were organized.
This is my second ElyT School, last year, I spent ten days in Sendai. I hope such opportunity will carry on for every student who would like to open his mind to something else…
